I’m Michelle, and I have been blogging over at The Runner’s Plate for 3 years.
I first started my blog to keep in contact with my family in Minnesota, but now I enjoy the connections I’ve made with other bloggers. Most of my posts consist of my daily run, sharing healthy recipes or new foods I’ve tried, and various Alaskan adventures I partake in.
I have been addicted to running since I was 10–running through high school and college and now in adulthood. I recently ran the Boston Marathon and was 5th for Alaskan women! I’ve run 5 marathons so far and hope to do another one soon. I love racing and run anything from 5Ks to marathons–I love it all!
I moved to Anchorage 5 years ago with my husband, Craig. I work in the home mortgage industry (not that exciting!) and my husband works for “the man” (a.k.a. The State of Alaska). My dream job is a semi-professional runner, blogger, and traveler, but I also want to be a stay-at-home mom one day. Hopefully one of those dreams will come true.
I enjoy “meeting” new people, so stop over at The Runner’s Plate and say hi!
Thanks for doing this, Whitney!
